Is Ashland far enough out that you charge extra to come?

My upstairs sashes are painted shut and the storms have been on for years. Can you still do them?
Usually yes on the storms, which come off from outside with the right hardware. A sash painted shut we leave shut. Forcing one breaks the paint film at the joint and sometimes takes the glazing with it, and freeing a stuck sash is joinery work rather than cleaning.
Do you clean storefront glass downtown?
Yes, and a storefront runs on a different rhythm from a house. Large single panes, sidewalk access, and usually a preference for early morning before anyone is trying to walk in. Tell us your opening time and we work around it. Regular intervals cost less per visit than one-off calls.
My house in Ashland has painted brick. Can you clean it without taking the paint off?
Depends how well the paint is stuck. We test a patch low on the wall where nobody looks. If the film is already lifting, washing takes it off in sheets and leaves you needing a repaint, and finding that out on one square foot beats finding it out across a whole elevation.
How much pressure do you use on old brick?
As little as does the job, and the angle matters more than the number. We keep the fan moving across the joints instead of into them, and we lean on chemistry and dwell time rather than force. A wall that needs more than that to come clean needs a mason, not a cleaner.
Can you wash the concrete and skip the house?
Yes, and on a fair number of properties out here that is what we would suggest. Flatwork shows dirt fastest and takes cleaning best. If your siding is newer and it is the drive that looks tired, do the drive and keep the rest of the money.
Do you clean gutters in Ashland twice a year like you do in Omaha?
Only where the trees warrant it. Houses in the old core sitting under mature canopy do. A newer place out toward the highway with young landscaping usually needs one well-timed fall visit, and we will tell you which you are once we see what comes out the first time.

No. We clean, and we photograph what we find. Rehanging a run means getting into the fascia, and on an older house that fascia is frequently soft behind sound-looking paint. That is a carpentry decision. You want somebody who can replace wood, not somebody holding a hose.

It goes in a bag and leaves with us. We do not blow it off the roof into your beds or rinse it down the drive to deal with later, and the ground under the work gets a look before we leave. Sludge from a gutter stains concrete if it sits.
